Testimonial By Dr. Elisa Lottor 10/2/2015

“There is a force in the universe, which, if we permit it, will flow through us and produce miraculous results” -- Gandhi

As a health care practitioner for the last 30 years, I have always been interested in health, not only for myself but for my patients.

My education and practice of Homeopathy and flower remedies have led me to understand we are really energetic beings.

My exposure to the benefits of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine have exposed me to the concept of “chi” or energy circulating through our body.

For this reason I have looked for and found a wonderful teacher and form of qigongCalled Taoist Light.

I have been studied and practicing Taoist Light QiGong with Chiyan Wang for close to two years and these are some of the changes that I have observed.

Increased energy

Improved immunity

Quicker recover from injury

Amelioration of pain

More organized thinking

Immediate solution to problems

Life seems to flow more effortlessly

A relaxed sense of allowing

Being in the right place at the right time

Much more synchronicity

“If you want to know the secret of the universe, think of energy frequency and vibration” -- N. Tesla

I believe qigong can be one of the best things one can do as one ages to help.

Regenerate the body by eliminating energy blockages both mentally and physically, thereby allowing the free flow of “Chi” which I have come to believe is the real secret behind vitality and vibrant health., and which will be written about in my upcoming new book: The Regeneration Plan.

I highly recommend this easy-to-do type of qigong with Chiyan Wang.

Happy Moon Festival

Contemplation   (by poet Li Po)

Moon twilight approaches,

coating the ground through the window,

Resembles a touch of frost,

Moon at the window,

Taking me back to where I am from.

How does Fengshui work? (1)

As the body is the house for the soul, the house is a shelter for the body. If a plant is placed at an improper environmental location, the plant cannot stay well and healthy. If a person stays in a house or office with poor Fengshui, it will definitely effect his/her over-all wellbeing. I often put it this way: Unseen force matters. It is probably easier to understand when I say that a house with mildew or gas leaks is a sick house; one may not see or smell it in the beginning, but later on one will feel weakened and become sick. A house with poor Fengshui is the same, especially when the owner cannot see/sense how the feng ("wind") and the shui ("water") energy work. Having a good Fengshui consultant come and take a look is important like a thorough physical health check-up, then you can heal the problems.

Fengshui works with unseen force/energy as well as physical forms (tangible objects, proper placements, etc.) It will be very clear if the house has good Fengshui, because it feels secure, peaceful, balanced, happy, and flowing. For whoever lives in a house with good Fengshui, things will turn to the better: better health, better financial flow, higher energy level, sounder sleep in the night, and overall better luck. In Ancient China, there is a saying about three important factors; heavenly time (天时), earth location (地利), and a harmonious relationship with people (人和): These three things together can make any good things happen. In America, it is like being at right time and at the right place to meet the right people; surely you can imagine how everything will go smoothly under such circumstances.

With Fengshui adjustment, repair, and healing performed on the house, we intend to make these three factors work together at their optimal level, and then the place becomes the right location to support your health, career, and family harmony. It is then called as a "loving space" and "Fengshui house".

Medical Qigong and Taoist Light Qigong stage II Tune-ups

For students who have taken medical Qigong and stage II training.

It is time to keep building up our core Qi steadily in order to avoid feeling drained here and there in life, so we are going to arrange a powerful group practice for Medical Qigong and Taoist Light Qigong Stage II on Sunday, August 23, from 2-3:30 pm ($30) at 411 E. Canon Perdido, Suite 16, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.

I would like to encourage you keep practicing Taoist Light Qigong Medical Qigong and Stage II. Make sure your postures/pronunciation are all correct, so you can receive the maximum benefits.

This advanced group practice will be held on the third Sunday of each month if there is such a need and sufficient participants. Group practice is more powerful than practicing alone.

Review on Medical Qigong: Taking only 5-10 minutes in the mornings, it removes the seeds of illnesses and sets an aligned healthy tune for the day.

Stage II: The best time to practice is from 7-9 pm and usually takes 10-20 minutes. It quickly replenishes the energy we lost or used up during the day.

I hope you can come on Sunday and look forward to seeing you!

Love, light and peace,

Chiyan

Father's contribution

My father is a certified Qigong Master, and he stayed with us for the past three months.

Father taught two workshops, one was a group transmission lecture, and the other was a Taoist Light Qigong Stage II training for advanced students. He firmly declined to take any remuneration home from all the workshops he taught, so we decided to put the funds into the future promotion of Taoist Light Wellness in the hope that more people can learn about and benefit from Taoist Light Qigong.

Father's trip to the USA was a healing journey for him, myself, and my family. It brought out more clarity and understanding. It was also inspiring to see that when a person becomes older, there is still so much more room to grow, especially by keeping a flexible mind and an open heart. My gift for his 83 year old birthday was an iPhone which he really wanted. He learned how to use it very quickly, and soon texted me asking what I wanted for dinner :).

During our precious time together, father helped by fixing things around the house, sewing the little holes in the kids' socks, fixing the zippers on my purse, and spending hours cooking meals from scratch. He also brewed fresh tea to fill the thermos for me and my clients everyday, and waved goodbye to me from the front porch as I headed to work.

The best part for me was going on walks with my father everyday after dinner. We talked about everything and watched the sunset, while the kids passed by us happily on their bikes.

On the day of his flight back to China, father got up at 5 am and cooked a wholesome, nutritionally balanced breakfast for the whole family, and then he practiced Taoist Light Qigong. As we drove to LAX, he insisted that we visit one of my best friends he had met previously during his last trip. He said this friend had cooked for me when I was pregnant with my twins, and friends are there when a person is in need are the real friends.

I would like to summarize what I have learned from my father about the qualities of a real Qigong master:

• Keep up the daily practice for oneself

• Uphold high standards of integrity

• Be willing to help and serve others

• Stay peaceful in the wisdom for all situations

• Radiate the inner light naturally that comes from years cultivation

Most people think my father does not look 83 years old, thus I encourage all Taoist Light Qigong students to practice diligently now that we can take inspiration from my father, for he has proved as an example that Taoist Light Qigong is working!

On July 5, we celebrated father's Birthday.

I'm certain that discovering Chiyan Wang and Taoist Light Qigong was an amazing act of destiny.  Chiyan is truly a gifted teacher and healer and one of the wisest people I've ever met.  Between practicing Qigong regularly and working with Chiyan privately, I have seen a great shift in my health, energy and personal balance.  There is a cleansing process that occurs that I will admit can be very challenging at times but the payoff is life changing.  I'm happy to say that my blood work is totally normal after three years of seeing high levels of sensitive CRP.  I find my sleep is better than ever, my body pain is gone and my energy is consistently higher. After six months of practice,  I'm finding that I have dreams and visions that are very insightful and help me to feel connected to the Universal Chi. Taoist Light Qigong is part of my daily routine and will continue to be.  I realize that maintaining health and balance is an ongoing process and I'm grateful to Chiyan for sharing her wisdom and leading the way.
