Qi/Life Force Transmission on June 7th

Dear Registered Participants:

Welcome to this precious opportunity for group Qi healing with my 82 year-old father, Weiye Wang. The last time I personally participated in a similar group healing lecture was thirty years ago. I think about it often and am still amazed by its healing power of light.

Please dress comfortably and loosely when you come to this event. It is better not to wear skirt, dress, jewelry or perfume. Please have lunch before you come and be well-rested in order to receive the most benefit. Everyone will be seated in chairs though some chairs are not cushioned; please feel free to bring a pad or pillow for your own comfort if needed.

When the lecture (with transmission) starts, please let yourself enter the Qi state, which means to be relaxed with your body/to be aware & clear with your mind and allow your body to move spontaneously rather than trying to be rigid and still. There is a saying in Qigong: “when the Qi moves, the body follows.” So we will go with the flow of the pure energy source/Taoist Light and let our body adjust and heal itself.

The door will be open at 2 pm. Please come earlier before the event starting time of 2:30 pm to sign in, and you can also pay the $60 fee if you have not done so already. (Checks can be made payable to Taoist Light Wellness.) This event will be videotaped and photographed for teaching/training purposes, and some photos will possibly be posted on the Taoist Light Wellness web-site. If you feel uncomfortable about being photographed in a group setting, please indicate so on the consent form when you sign in.

Be prepared for a powerful energy cleanse and awakened inner-power, as well as many blessings with light and healing energy,

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Father is visiting

My father had a tough life as most people of his generation did in China. He had a severe accident which almost took his life at the age of 13; he ran away from home because of Japanese War and missed most of his school years; he ate tree bark to survive at 1950's; and he went through the culture revolution. Even so, he became a principle for an elementary school and a middle school in his 30's, and then he became a leader for a company of 30,000 people until he retired.

When I saw him right after he arrived, he looked the same as when he left here five years ago. The kids asked me tricky questions as they used to do at the dinner table. “ Mom, what does a cow drink?” I answered : ”Milk.” Father corrected me quickly: “Cow drinks water.” As you can tell, my almost 83 year-old (in July) dad is much sharper than me.

Again he had no jet-lag experience after his long flight as usual, and he wakes up before everyone else does to practice Qigong and Taichi diligently in our backyard. After lunch, he takes a ten minute nap and then spends hours to cook home-made Tofu veggie rolls for the kids to take for lunch the next day.

In China we have a saying: an old wise man is a treasure at home. And it is truly a blessing to have three generations spend some peaceful, precious, and happy time together.

By the way, my father is an old authentic Qigong Master and will offer a Taoist Light Qigong Transmission on Sunday, June 7, from 2:30-4:30 pm.

It will be open to public and held at:

Happy Sunday, the Double Holiday!

Dear All,

Hope you are doing well.

April 5, Sunday is Easter and Chinese Ancestor Memorial Day!

You all know about Easter, well what about Ancestor Memorial Day?  Our energy is continuous flowing from generation to generation: to honor our ancestors is to honor our roots.  To connect with ancestors' positive, respectful and supportive quality is like finding "guardian spirits" to keep us healthy, trouble-free, and prosperous.

We will continue the first Sunday of each month group practice. Please come to join us if you can. The Qigong topic of this month is: "How not to let other's negative energy effect us."
